Earlier, 479 AYUSH clinics have been established in PHCs across the state. During the year 2009-10, this service has been extended to another 300 PHCs by hiring of AYUSH doctors under NRHM. Due to the growing public demand for AYUSH services, AYUSH clinics will be opened in 175 more PHCs bringing the total coverage under AYUSH to more than 60% of the PHCs.
