A detailed facility survey has been conducted for identification of gaps and to finalize the activities to be incorporated within the existing FRUs. Due to increasing patient load at the secondary level Hospitals and to bring about an integration of different service units for smooth functioning of all services, activities for strengthening the maternal unit as well as for general improvement of the hospital building and other support services have been identified.
Civil works as a part of infrastructure strengthening in selected FRUs is proposed to be taken up during 2013-14. Civil works and Equipments to FRUs are under construction amounting Rs.8135 Lakhs.
